Harry Brown
Synopsis: "A recently widowed former Royal Marine, decides to take action against the teenage drug dealers terrorizing and killing the residents of his South London neighborhood."

Edit summary: Small trims here and there to speed up and streamline the story a bit. It's still a slow burn, but the trims remove the lulls so it's smooth and engaging.
Ondine
Synopsis: "An Irish fisherman discovers a woman in his fishing net whom his precocious daughter believes to be a selkie."

Edit summary: Cut the "realistic" backstory for Ondine's character and some of the family drama to make the film a bit more like a fairy tale, also changing the ending to be less saccharine.

Ver5: Remastered
Up In The Air
Synopsis: "Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) racks up miles flying around the country firing employees on behalf of companies. But he faces losing the job he savors to recent college grad Natalie Keener (Anna Kendrick) -- and losing the ability to escape emotional ties to anything. A connection he builds with Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga), however, might change his outlook on the future. Golden Globe winner Jason Reitman's smart comedy also stars Jason Bateman."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut the majority of the Vera Farmiga scenes and disposed of the cliche 'everyone needs love' plot point they added to keep George Clooney's character more mainstream-audience friendly.

Ver8: Remastered
Zombieland
Synopsis: "An easily spooked guy, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), joins forces with wild man Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) to fight for survival in a world virtually taken over by freakish zombies. As they destroy scores of the undead, they meet up with two other survivors, Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) and Wichita (Emma Stone), and journey to a supposedly safe abandoned amusement park. Ruben Fleischer directs this horror romp."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut Bill Murray, the lookalikes storyline in the second film, and some of the slapstick humor.

Ver8: Remastered
Survivors
Synopsis: "When a lethal flu virus ravages the global population, Abby Grant (Julie Graham) begins a search for her missing son, and soon becomes the leader of a small group of survivors trying to live in a world thrown into chaos. As Abby follows clues to her boy's whereabouts, her band must compete for scarce resources with violent gangs, a strange cult leader and more. This remake of the 1970s British TV drama of the same name co-stars Max Beesley."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Removed most of the sci-fi or supernatural elements and focused on the realistic pandemic storyline of the first season - most of the second season is cut.

Ver7: Remastered as 1080p edit
The Mentalist
Synopsis: "Simon Baker (in his first Emmy-nominated role) stars as Patrick Jane, a rogue detective and case-cracking consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation -- a far cry from his last gig as a semi-famous "psychic medium" with no paranormal abilities. Despite his bogus past, Patrick's charm and powers of observation endear him to the CBI team -- except for Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney), who doesn't care for his antics. Tim Kang and Amanda Righetti also star."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut the majority of the cop procedural episodes that had no relevance to the Red John plot, keeping only a handful of the more interesting ones, and streamlined the RJ storyline. Some episodes are rearranged and altered to create a better overall flow with the much shorter series length.
The Ramen Girl
Synopsis: "An American woman is stranded in Tokyo after breaking up with her boyfriend. Searching for direction in life, she trains to be a ramen chef under a tyrannical Japanese master."

Edit summary: This focuses the story mostly on the ramen shop, only keeping enough of the side characters and plot to add some light outside interactions for the main character. Some of the scenes are also rearranged to create a more natural flow to the story.

Ver4: Remastered
Californication
Synopsis: "Bachelor Hank Moody's (David Duchovny) got it made: he's a sexy best-selling author who's irresistible to the ladies. But as a part-time dad juggling his wild L.A. lifestyle with grown-up responsibilities, this say-anything writer's at a loss for words. This smart Showtime comedy also stars Natascha McElhone (as Hank's ex-girlfriend), Madeleine Martin (as Becca, his 13-year-old daughter), Madeline Zima and Evan Handler."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut several garbage seasons, stitched together a few episodes to make the removals seamless, and edited a season finale to be the series finale.

The 3rd revision cleans up a lot of the rough edges of the original old edit - especially the Season 2/3/4 transitional episode. Also tones down the overly loud music during certain transitions.

Ver11: Remastered
Knocked Up
Synopsis: "Rising journalist Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) hits a serious bump in the road after a one-night stand with irresponsible slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) results in pregnancy."

Edit summary: Cut a lot of teen humor and some of the more stereotypical tropes to make a more heart-felt story.
St. Trinian's
Synopsis: "When a fanatical education minister (Colin Firth) threatens to close St. Trinian's for its dreadful reputation and potential financial crash, the student body -- made up of a gaggle of devilish girls -- plans a lucrative heist worthy of a million detentions. With a rowdy headmistress (Rupert Everett) and a clumsy faculty, swiping Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" turns into a riotous good time. Russell Brand and Mischa Barton co-star."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut the majority of the cross-dressing role Rupert Everett plays as the headmistress, focusing on the girls and the adventure rather than his constant "comedy" interruptions.
A Good Year
Synopsis: "A British investment broker inherits his uncle's chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of his childhood. He discovers a new laid-back lifestyle as he tries to renovate the estate to be sold."

Edit summary: Trim a few of the flashbacks and take out other scenes that remove pacing or interrupt the feel-good vibe of the film to shorten and smooth out the experience.

Ver10: Remastered
Cashback
Synopsis: "After breaking up with his girlfriend, aspiring artist Ben Willis (Sean Biggerstaff) develops insomnia and takes a night-shift job at a supermarket to pass the hours. He soon discovers that he can freeze time and begins fantasizing about pretty checkout clerk Sharon (Emilia Fox). When he's not dreaming of Sharon -- who may hold the key to resolving his sleeplessness -- Ben roams the aisles disrobing beautiful customers and sketching them."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: This is a minor edit to de-censor a couple sections of the film using the Short Film version that came out a couple years prior to the film itself. Both can be found on the BluRay (only released in Japan under the name Frozen Time). Many of the scenes in the 18 minute short film were used shot for shot in the full film, with regraded color and DNR applied.
James Bond
Synopsis: "After receiving a license to kill, British Secret Service agent James Bond (Daniel Craig) heads to Madagascar, where he uncovers a link to Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a man who finances terrorist organizations. Learning that Le Chiffre plans to raise money in a high-stakes poker game, MI6 sends Bond to play against him, gambling that their newest "00" operative will topple the man's organization."

Edit summary: This heavily cuts the Daniel Craig films together into a single movie with a Spectre-focused plot arc. It throws most of No Time To Die in the trash, there's a separate edit that uses the good parts of that film. It also disposes of all the Bond girls except for Vesper Lynd, Severine, and Madeleine to streamline the film for the shorter time and fit the plot arc. Action sequences were pared down as well, disposing of the airport terrorist, almost all of QOS, Moneypenny sniper scene and the following bond injury drama, Mexico city, Hoffler Klinik chase, and the C intelligence network drama.

This keeps a decent balance of action and drama without feeling like there's a quota of action sequences, and without bloating the runtime with drama that doesn't fit the Spectre arc. Vesper, Mr White, and Blofeld storylines are more coherent since they're no longer fragmented across multiple films with hours of unrelated filler in between.

Ver11: Remastered, minor scene adjustments
Doctor Who
Synopsis: "An eccentric yet compassionate extraterrestrial Time Lord zips through time and space to defend the earth, and solve problems across the universe - traveling via the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space), which is his old and occasionally unreliable spaceship that resembles a blue police phone box"

Edit summary: This focuses on the Matt Smith version of Doctor Who, turning several seasons of the show into a self-contained mini-series that covers his entire life. Various trims for continuity and quality, as well as a bit of rearranging episodes to make it a cohesive narrative.

Please note, the episodes listed for this edit are named as well, since the episode numbers used vary from source to source depending on if the special episodes are counted separately or not. Two episodes (Cold War, The Rings of Akhaten) are basically untouched besides removing the "next episode" previews, but projects are provided anyway since they're not in the original season order.

Ver7: Remastered
The Family Stone
Synopsis: "Although their relationship works in the city, things begin to fall apart for buttoned-up Manhattanites Everett (Dermot Mulroney) and Meredith (Sarah Jessica Parker) when they visit the suburbs for the holidays to stay with Everett's family. Sarah's first meeting with Everett's parents (Diane Keaton and Craig T. Nelson) proves so traumatic that she calls in her sister (Claire Danes) for backup -- a move that only makes Christmas more complicated."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)

Edit summary: Cut a small bit of plot nudity that's already explained through other scenes.
