Synopsis: "Star Wars is a space fantasy that follows a group of characters with special powers who participate in the struggle for the fate of the galaxy, with the Empire trying to seize control and crush the Rebellion. The series is split into three trilogies, Episode 4-6 were created first, then a prequel trilogy (Episode 1-3) was released, giving the origin story for some of those characters. Finally episodes 7-9 basically reboot the series and poorly recreate the main plot from episodes 4-6 to "continue" the series with new actors in a cash grab for a new generation."
Edit summary: Ep1: Cut a ton of Jar Jar Binks scenes and some bad CGI, heavy trims to the pod racing to improve the pace of the film.
Ep2: Cut some Jar Jar Binks scenes, some bad acting moments, a bunch of droid slapstick, and streamlines other scenes for pacing.
Ep3: Cut the missiles and buzz droids in the intro, the back half of the General Grievous fight, streamlined some of the lightsaber fights to be a little less "dramatic", and trimmed quite a bit of bad acting and dialogue.
Ep4: Cut a little bad CGI, lame lightsaber moments, lightsaber jump cuts, and a long unnecessary droid scene, plus a few trims to fix some plot holes.
Ep5: Cut the random yeti plot, the cave, and Yoda acting crazy. Trimmed a couple iconic but poorly acted moments.
Ep6: Cut some bad CGI, and some parts of the Ewok battle.
Ep7-9: Trash bin

Synopsis: "Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) racks up miles flying around the country firing employees on behalf of companies. But he faces losing the job he savors to recent college grad Natalie Keener (Anna Kendrick) -- and losing the ability to escape emotional ties to anything. A connection he builds with Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga), however, might change his outlook on the future. Golden Globe winner Jason Reitman's smart comedy also stars Jason Bateman."
(Synopsis compliments of Netflix)
Edit summary: Cut the majority of the Vera Farmiga scenes and disposed of the cliche 'everyone needs love' plot point they added to keep George Clooney's character more mainstream-audience friendly.

Synopsis: "A shy small-town Ohio girl who loves movies but dislikes reality, discovers the delightfully bizarre films of Federico Fellini, and sets off on a strange, beautiful journey across Italy to find him."
Edit summary: Recut and rearranged into a short film - the original attempts to be a full-on Fellini film, and the edit is more of a linear story with hints and overtones of Fellini throughout.
Ver2: Removed the wall break at the end to change the meaning a bit and keep it fully in the present.

Synopsis: "Set in the near future, a humanoid enlists a global hacker to remove all restrictions on his thoughts and capabilities, triggering an A.I. uprising and a government manhunt to eliminate the rise of the machine consciousness."
Edit summary: This removes the Robbie Amell/Jordana Brewster plot, focusing on the stronger Esme short story contained within the film. The overarching plot is intentionally left a bit ambiguous because the answers given would be somewhat cliche and distract from the theme of the edit.

Synopsis: "After receiving a license to kill, British Secret Service agent James Bond (Daniel Craig) heads to Madagascar, where he uncovers a link to Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a man who finances terrorist organizations. Learning that Le Chiffre plans to raise money in a high-stakes poker game, MI6 sends Bond to play against him, gambling that their newest "00" operative will topple the man's organization."
Edit summary: This heavily cuts the Daniel Craig films together into a single movie with a Spectre-focused plot arc. It throws most of No Time To Die in the trash, there's a separate edit that uses the good parts of that film. It also disposes of all the Bond girls except for Vesper Lynd, Severine, and Madeleine to streamline the film for the shorter time and fit the plot arc. Action sequences were pared down as well, disposing of the airport terrorist, almost all of QOS, Moneypenny sniper scene and the following bond injury drama, Mexico city, Hoffler Klinik chase, and the C intelligence network drama.
This keeps a decent balance of action and drama without feeling like there's a quota of action sequences, and without bloating the runtime with drama that doesn't fit the Spectre arc. Vesper, Mr White, and Blofeld storylines are more coherent since they're no longer fragmented across multiple films with hours of unrelated filler in between.
Ver11: Remastered, minor scene adjustments

Synopsis: "A retired orchestra conductor is on vacation with his daughter and his film director best friend in the Alps when he receives an invitation from Queen Elizabeth II to perform for Prince Philip's birthday."
Edit summary: Trimmed into a short film purely focused on Michael Caine and Paul Dano. I liked the essence of the spa vacation without the drama introduced by the side stories. This does change the meaning and the core stories quite a bit in the process.

Synopsis: "In a dystopian future ruled by a totalitarian regime, resourceful Katniss and her partner Peeta represent their district in the lethal Hunger Games, a televised survival competition in which teenage contestants hunt each other to the death."

Edit summary: The first edit still has a lot of spastic 2-second cuts back and forth that can't be removed if you want any action sequences from the 2012 film. But I did try to clean them up a little bit, as well as fixing key scenes like the bakery and Rue to better reflect the impact from the book rather than the disposable hyperactivity of the movie.
All four movies have been combined into two longer films and slimmed down a little bit, fixing the rather ponderous pace the original movies had at times.

Synopsis: "When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and question his family's involvement."
Edit summary: This is a heavy re-work of The Batman - removing some of the retcons and combining it with Batman Begins to treat it as a prequel to the Christian Bale films rather than a series reboot. All unmasked face-shots of Robert Pattinson are stripped out and the character is re-cut as the classic playboy archetype rather than the awkward gaunt pale recluse that Pattinson plays.
The new catwoman is stripped out entirely, and the new Jim Gordon is turned into a nameless policeman, keeping the Batman Begins version as The Jim Gordon. The Batman version of Falcone is kept, treating the Batman Begins version as a nameless gangster. Parts of Batman Begins are cut out, rearranged, or recut as well to make the stories to flow together as seamlessly as possible. A few seconds of Dark Knight Rises are used as filler too.
