Synopsis: "Passions run deep in a small Texas town, as three ranching dynasties fight for their land, their legacies and the people they love."

Edit summary: This edit keeps three main plots - the overarching romance with the messy love triangle removed, the cop's investigation, and the conflict between the brothers without so much pipeline conspiracy. The teen dating and drama is removed, a lot of the light sexual situations were dropped, and much of the drama around the land for the pipeline is cut along with the bartender-ranchhand romance. This leaves a more Hallmark-style movie-length ranch romance, rather than the messy soap opera of the original plot.

S2: Cut all the manufactured drama with the dad, as well as basically all the other side characters, just keeping the main romance plot as a very pared down and rearranged version of the season.
